Shilin is a recent PhD graduate at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular
Engineering (CBE) at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on
nanomaterials-based delivery system for cancer therapeutics, particularly in using polymers with acetylcholine analogues to encapsulate monoclonal antibodies to facilitate their
transport across the blood brain barrier. Additionally, he is also experienced in microfluidic
platform development for cancer spheroid culturing and drug screening from his research.
During his PhD program, he also served as the vice president of the Chemical Engineering
Graduate Student Council, a student-run organisation providing academic and wellness
